"This is ‘China speed’"

——Zhang Shizheng, Commentary Member of Korean Central Daily

September 1995, I first traveled to China. I visited Beijing and Xi'an. Traveling to China is my dreamsince I was young.

In order to understand the past of China, I went to Xi'an. In order to understand China, I went to Beijing.

In 1998, I went to Shanghai, which is called "the future of China."

What impressed me the most was the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008 and the Wenchuan Earthquake that occurred in May of the same year.

Beijing Olympic Games coincided with the 30th anniversary of China's reform and opening up

At that time, I can feel that China is more open to the world and more open than ever.

But the Wenchuan earthquake was a huge tragedy

I visited the earthquake zone shortly after the earthquake and one year after the earthquake.

It took only one year to see the Chinese people gradually heal the wounds left by the earthquake.

I think this is "China speed"

I still remember the slogan "Zhongzhi Chengcheng"

I like the diversity of Chinese food most.

I like roast duck and belly most in Beijing cuisine.

In Shanghai cuisine I like Dongpo meat and lion head most

Many people see China as a "slow-paced country" when describing China.

But in my opinion, China is a country faster than South Korea.

Including the speed of economic growth, the speed of change is very fast.

Before the reform and opening up, it can be said that it is a slow pace. Now "fast" has already been integrated into the lives of Chinese people.

In terms of food, clothing, housing and transportation, Korea attaches more importance to clothing culture and China pays more attention to food culture.
